Did you happen to get hold of a dozen or so different sized eggs? We have blue, green, & brown layers in our flock.
Check them out eating some homegrown watermelon from our garden. These ladies are Barred Rocks, they produce the brown eggs. We also have 2 Ameraucanas that lay blue eggs. 2 Easter Eggers that lay green eggs. We have 2 Gold Laced Wyandots & 2 Black Austrolorpes they lay brown eggs. We recently acquired 4 Blue Jersey Giants but they are only a week old.
Chicken time happens everyday and they love many smashing the homegrown veggies they get everyday in the summer.

We started our chicken tender journey this Spring. We have been having a blast. We hope to have eggs in June or July. Can’t wait to see all those misshapen weird eggs.
